What does bioethanol mean?Biofuel theme logo

Bioethanol is the usual ethanol, produced while processing of the plant raw materials for its use as biofuel. Its production is similar to the potable alcohol production. The modern manufacturing process of ethyl alcohol manufacturing includes the following stages:
- preparation and refinement of the amyloidal raw materials – seeds (rye, wheat etc.)
- fermentation. The great majority of the spirit production plants still use the enzymatic degradation of the starch into the spirit with the use of yeasts. The recombining products of α-Amylase, produced bioengineerically - glucoamylase, aminosubtilin, are used for this purpose.
- brew rectification.

ACS TP of bioethanol production control

ACS TP of dispatching serves for status control and automated production control, transportation, shipping and storage of bioethanol.

ACS TP implements the following functions:

• protection and blocking;
• compulsory checking of the status of technical parameters;
• automatic control of TP through the control signals sent to the actuating mechanisms according to the given algorithms;
• technological and fault signaling in case of overrunning the scheduled and emergency borders by technological parameters;
• providing software support while system customizing;
• protocoling of the technical processes, storage and displaying the protocol of the technical process on the workstation screens and output for printing in the convenient form;
• Information interchange with the local subsystems of the plant.

The following goals were pursued while developing the ACS TP:

• achievement of the high performance of the technical equipment;
• improving reliability of the equipment performance;
• improving productivity and working conditions for the operating personnel;
• cost reduction through the material and energy saving;
• quality improvement;
• meeting the environmental safety requirements;
• meeting the safety requirements;
• improving technological discipline;
• reduction of need of the equipment maintenance;
• improving flexibility of the control system through its modular construction, which provides its upgradeability in the future;
• improving the production standards and technologies.
