ACS TP of the biofuel production

At the present time biofuel can be reasonable divided into the following types:

  • Bioethanol (produced on the plants, which produce spirits),
  • Biodiesel (produced of rape, sunflower, straw),
  • Solid fuel (produced of different phytogenic wastes),
  • Biogas (product of decomposition of organic matter).

The technology can be described in few words so: flower seeds come through the oil mill, where oil is separated from the oil-seed meal wastes of the oil-extracting production. Then oil is added to the methanol; natrium methoxide is used as a catalyst. The received mixture is purified – the fuel is ready.
