«Modernization of ACS of extractors А201.1 and А201.2», PJSC “Zaporizhzhya oil and fat plant”

1. Automation tasks:

• replacement of the obsolete and worn-out radioactive level gauges on the extractors А201.1 and А201.2 with modern sensors;
• visualization of the sensor values on the screen of operator station (existing), generation of level value trends in the extractors;
• outputting diagnostic and alarm messages to operator on achieving the level limit values

2. Selected solutions and scope of ACS:

• PLC SIMATIC S7-315-2 DP, SIEMENS (existing);
• PC-based operator station (existing);
• installation of the vibration level sensor VEGAWAVE 63 on the extractor А201.1 (VEGA);
• installation of the radar level gauge VEGAPULS 62 on the extractor А201.2 (VEGA);
• installation of the instrinic safe barriers МТМ501 (MICROTERM) in the existing PLC cabinet;
• applied networks – Industrial Ethernet, for communication with the operator station
