ACS of TP and electric power station for sections of collection, storage and primary processing of grain

Intended use of the system

ACS of TP for sections of collection, storage and primary processing of grain is used for automated and manual control of grain crop receiving, unloading, cleaning, drying, storing and transporting on the elevator in Mykolaivka, Odessa Oblast.

Main functions of ACS of TP are:

  • Keeping the specified productivity of the elevator;
  • Improving the process discipline;
  • Minimizing the human factor on the elevator operation;
  • Simplifying the operator’s work;
  • Control of the equipment time in service;
  • Improving the industrial standards and technologies;
  • Improving the labour conditions for operating personnel.

These goals are achieved by:

  • using the modern PLCs, industrial PCs, and means of communication between these devices;
  • control of manufacturing processes and equipment;
  • Process signaling in case of parameter deviation from the preset values;
  • Protocoling and archiving the main process parameters, which allow the operational analysis of the work quality of the technological equipment;
  • using the software solutions, which allow you to control the elevator by minimum operator assistance.

Characteristics of the automation object

ACS of TP and electric power station for sections of collection, storage and primary processing of grain allows performing the following manufacturing processes:

  • Reception of raw products;
  • Unloading raw products;
  • Drying and cleaning raw materials;
  • Grain storing and transporting.

Level 0

Level 0 of ACS of TP ДСВ5 includes the following field devices:

  • Conveyor and paternoster rotation sensors;
  • Sensors of the conveyor and paternoster supports;
  • Paternoster run-off switches;
  • Container level detectors: digital and analog, high-, and low-level sensors;
  • Limit switches for valves;
  • Local device control panels;
  • Cable routings for communication with the integrated devices;
  • Electric motors for the manufacturing equipment;
  • Local control stations.

Level L1

Structure:

  • Industrial controllers (CPU S7-412);
  • Distributed peripheral modules (ET200М);
  • Conveyor current load sensors;
  • Transformers of paternoster motor current;
  • Frequency inverters Sinamics G120.

Functions:

  • Manufacturing process and equipment control by a preset control algorithm;
  • Automated blocking and protection of the manufacturing equipment on the programming level;
  • Information interchange between PLC and other local equipment.

Level L2

Structure:

  • Industrial PC of the operator station;
  • Displays.

Functions:

  • Real time visualization of the manufacturing process;
  • Remote control of the manufacturing process.
