System use

On the enterprise JSC “Vertopack Gostomel glass factory” arose a demand to integrate into existing control system SVP№83 two valves of new chimney flue on the section №83 with possibility of valve controlling in manual, semi-automatic and  automatic mode and visualization of its statuses on the existing operator station.

Characteristics of the automation object

Control of valves can be carried out from local control panel or from operator station.
With local control panel control of valves can be carried out in manual and semi-automatic mode (control mode is selected with the key switch on the local contol panel:
- manual mode – valve is opened and closed, till the button “Open” or “Close” is actuated.
- semi-automatic mode – after pressing the buttom “Open” or “Close” valve opens or closes till the final position.
From the operator station control of valves is carried out by selection of automatic mode on the local control panel. In this mode control of valves is carried out from the operator station.
In all control modes valve status indication (opened/closed) is carried out on the local control panel by the appropriate lamps and graphically on the monitor of the operator station.
